GadgetTrak™ Verey for the Mac is unique theft recovery software that enables your Mac to send information back to you when stolen, including video of the thief.
When activated GadgetTrak Verey will activate the built-in iSight camera if available to capture video of thieves and unauthorized users and send it to you via email along with location, network information including all wireless networks in the area.
To respect your privacy GadgetTrak Verey does not communicate with GadgetTrak servers and no monitoring of your system is done remotely.
GadgetTrak Verey does not require any subscription, the license you purchase is good for the life of the device with free upgrades. |

The GadgetTrak software works through a popup box requiring a password approximately 1-2 minutes after a user logs in. I "tested" the software 2-3 times by entering an incorrect password and did NOT get the promised email with localizing information or any video footage of the "thief" (myself). |

I purchased this software at MacWorld as I was impressed with the demo, the fact that you can capture video of thieves and unauthorized users.It is easy to install and captures high quality video. Very innovative! |

GadgetTrak Verey is a innovative theft recovery solution for the Mac that utilizes the built-in iSight camera to capture video of thieves and non-authorized users along with location and network information including all of the wireless networks in the vicinity and sends it to your email account.
The software does all of this while respecting the device owner's privacy as there is no monitoring server, the communication occurs between the system and the device owner's email account. The software also integrates with Twitter for additional notifications which is a great addition for those who want an SMS notification as well, it also enables you to setup notifications directly to law enforcement when your Mac is stolen. |
