Windows CE 2.0, but not Windows CE 3.0 |

The description of this product here is not clear and has led to folks purchasing this for the newer Windows CE devices and being disappointed, which I can see would be easy to do. This software works with older Windows CE products, but not newer ones such as Pocket PC or Windows CE 3.0 for Handhelds such as the HP 720. Windows CE products must be compiled (built) separately for each processor used by a device. For instance, software for Pocket PCs must come in three flavours (ARM, MIPS, SH3) today...However, ARM and StrongARM processors did not exist when this product was made, so there is no installation in ARM devices (such as the Compaq iPAQ). When you purchase Windows CE software, you must verify that it includes a version for the processor and operating system of your device. I wish Marketadvisory would list this type of information in their catalog. |

Quicken Expensable |

I purchased this product about 2 1/2 months ago and found that it would not install onto my Compaq Ipaq. I have contacted the company that developed it, who informed me that they no longer deal with this product and gave me an e-mail for the company that has tacken it over. I contacted them and never heard from them. Since it never installed at all I find this product to be lousy and it was a total waste of money. I was considering upgrading to Quicken 2001, but since Quicken's name is on Quicken Expensable, I will stay with my older version. Disgusted and frustrated. |

Nice Companion for Windows CE |

As most of you surely know, losing receipts and forgetting some of your expenses can cost you money. This product affords you the opportunity to complete your expense reports on the road and then syncronize your PDA with your desktop. I already use expensable on my desktop and this portable version works extremely well. |
