Well Made Product |
|
I bought this glue applicator for a kitchen cabinet project that was going to use a large number of joints with multiple biscuits. I tried two other glue applicators in the past and neither worked very well. The Lamello works very well, glue ups with biscuits go very quickly. The only negative I found was the adjustment of the amount of glue dispensed with each push. I have not been completely able to get just the right amount dispensed. That is a minor problem. If you are looking for a good dispenser and have alot of biscuit joints to assemble this dispenser will make the job go much easier. The only downside to this product is the cost. |

Worth the price, Glad I purchased |
Because of the price I was hesitant to purchase. Previously I used the ol' glue bottle and a brush. This applicator doesn't completely remove that need. However, I can tell you this is one of the best purchases I have made when using with biscuits.
This makes short work of glue application, its neat and easy, and makes short work of applying glue. When working on projects you can literally apply the glue with one hand while holding with the other.
My feeling on the base is it is adequate and works just fine. I am glad I bought this and recommend. |

The Best |
|
I've used many different applicators. This is the easiest, and the best I've ever used. Quick, clean, and a joy to use. It is worth the money. Nuff said... |

Very good, but could be GREAT! |
|
Very nice glue bottle with good capacity and size. The base to stand it in upside down is great, except the base needs to have the void area underneath filled with something heavy to make it more stable. It would also be nice if they created a holding slot for the supplied wrench to remove the nozzles. To solve these problems, I filled the underside of the base with modeling clay, and attached two small rare earth magnets to one end of the base with gap filling superglue. Now the base has weight and the little wrench won't get lost, and will always be where it is needed. |

This thing works great. |
It has a little pumping mechanism that squirts an adjustable amount of glue into the slot. No more having to try and guess how much glue is going into the slot. No more dripping mess. Much faster to work with. I am glad I spent the money.
