The material used in this "Pissarro" quality portfolio is EVA, a reinforced nylon which is used in high-end luggage and which will give you long years of service and protection from hard handling. The portfolio is made by Martin Universal Design, the sister company of Martin F Weber, suppliers of art materials since 1853. Incorporating a sturdy honeycomb frame it includes a shoulder strap connected by heavy-duty hardware. Measuring 11.5 X 15.5 X 3 inches inside (outside dimensions are slightly larger), it includes a variety of compartments that are permanent, adjustable and removable. There are a number of compartments in the top that can accommodate various items such as drawing pads, paints, tools, brushes and other objects. The bottom is fitted with 6 compartments that can be adjusted in different configurations depending on the artist's needs or, if necessary, the compartments can be removed entirely. The bottom also includes a tie-down system for further security. A combination lock is also provided. Weighing only 4 lbs., it is light enough to be comfortable even when carrying it for long periods yet sturdy enough to provide many years of service.
