Wonderful looms! |

I got my looms a few years ago, and their still knitting strong. I've made: Hats, Baby dolls(they look swaddled), scarves, blankets and headbands. Even with just the round looms you can make a blanket! You really need the booklets to be able to make anything. I have taught me sisters (then 7 and 10), and know we all knit. You really only need one set per household, because most of the time three of the looms have nothing on them. Overall, I'm glad I went ahead and got them. Great for all ages and stages. |

fast and easy, with little investment or setup |
My mother bought me this set a couple years ago, and it was really a great gift. I've made hats and scarves for all my nearest and dearest, and have started experimenting with dropped needle effects and such, with great success. Since these little looms work on the same general principle as knitting machines (multiple needles) they can give you many of the same effects as machine knitting, but a little chunkier, and without all the hassle or space required for a knitting machine.
I am anxious to get a set of the long looms, too, so I can try to do rib-knits and stuff. I wonder if you could knit cables by crossing the stitches onto other pegs... |

I made something! |

Opened this set in the afternoon, had a hat done that evening. Granted, it was smaller than I intended, but that was my fault for not reading the instructions fully. A great product for people intimidated by knitting needles and crochet hooks. Super easy with great results. Also, good for children wanting to knit. (Although my 5 year old is a little young) The only complaints I have are that the hook and needle that come with the set are a bit flimsy, and the instructions are not super clear. (They have graphics and you can figure out any confusion with a tiny bit of patience.) The looms themselves seem to be very sturdy and well made. A very enjoyable and relaxing hobby, and these are great for beginners and experienced knitters, alike. Also, the internet is a great source for free patterns and help, if you want to avoid buying expensive books before you are sure you like knitting. |

This item was not available after we ordered it and our money was refunded promptly. We did go to a Michael's Craft Store and purchase it for $9.99 instead of the $24.99 listed on Marketadvisory through Joann's Fabrics. I highly recommend anyone to purchase this loom set for fun and easy crafts! |

What a blast for most ages |

I got this for my 10 yr old daughter for Christmas. I decided to play around with it. I have not put it down yet. We both have had so much fun. I didn't know how to knit...and this is so darn easy. In fact we had to buy more hooks, so that we could both work at the same time. |
