Product Description |
|
For corner brownie fans and chewy edge lovers, it's a dream come true -- a gourmet brownie pan that adds two chewy edges to every serving! It's the Edge Brownie Pan from Baker's Edge, and it's the first (and only) brownie pan specifically designed for chewy edge lovers.
The pan's patented sidewalls also improve baking performance by circulating heat evenly to the pan's middle, where food typically takes longer to bake. The size is just right - 9" x 12" x 2", so it's a perfect fit for box mixes and most recipes for 9" x 9" and 9" x 13" conventional pans. The hefty cast aluminum construction adds durability and the unique recessed handles make the pan easy to grab when it's turned upside down. The pan also has a quality nonstick coating and smooth, round corners for quick and easy clean-up.
Widely acclaimed for its innovation and quality since its launch in 2006, the Edge Brownie Pan has quickly become one of the most talked-about new products in bakeware. The pan has received rave reviews by more than 300 magazines, newspapers, and blogs.
Units are individually boxed and come complete with a gourmet recipes insert and a custom nylon spatula. |

Make your wife super happy. |
Well I finally got a present for my wife she reaaaaaally likes. In her words "the best present ever". I just got this from a Buffalo NY gourmet shop for our 6th wedding anniversary. You know the 6th anniversary where you traditionally get something made of cast aluminum that can create tasty chocolate treats, that 6th anniversary.
Anyways, she just made her first batch of brownies with this pan and they couldn't have been better. Slightly less bake time too, chewy in the middle and many inches of crispier edges. There is NO sticking either and they include the perfect sized plastic spatula.
We will have brownies much more often I am sure. :p |

Outstanding results! |
I've used this pan twice, only for brownies so far. But the results were absolutely FANTASTIC! The brownies had chewy edges and fudgy centers. They came out of the pan extremely well, leaving nothing behind. I didn't even spray the pan first (forgot the first time, fortunately)! I kid you not, my pan--currently filled with all but three brownies--looks just like that one product photo.
Even with an ordinary box mix exactly as directed, these were among the best brownies I've ever had. Can't wait to try brownies from scratch and other goodies.
I wish this exact pan (material, craftsmanship, weight, finish) were available in a Bundt pan! |

Best brownies EVER! |
|
I've had this pan for a couple months now and love it. I've made brownies almost every week since I got it and have never had a batch come out under or over cooked. I've tried several brands of boxed mixes and they all came out great by following the basic cooking instructions for a 13x9 pan. Every piece has atleast 2 nice edges on it. You get twice as many corner pieces than a traditional pan, including the two end pieces that have 3 edges (those are the first to go in my house). The only bad thing is that I have become even more addicted to brownies since I bought this pan. It's definately worth the money. I'm giving a few as Christmas gifts this year to my brownie loving friends and family. |

Overseas Transaction |
I bought this pan after reading a recommendation for it on someone's blog. I don't regret making this purchase, even though it took a little more organisation from England. I only regret not buying two pans.
The brownies come up beautifully. I can highly recommend the marbled brownies (brownie with cheesecake topping) that come as one of the suggested recipes in the packaging. |
