This was my first experience using a compressor to inflate my car tires. I called the Slime Company when the unit wouldn't run at first. The very nice/helpful person walked me through the steps. For my car (a Saab), I found I needed to have the ignition switch in the ON (not STart) position for the compressor to run. The gauge on the unit does register about 4-5 lbs higher than 2 other pressure gauges I used, but that is easily worked around. I would describe this compressor as being quiet, fast, easy-to-use, and the screw-on connection to the tire is secure. I'm very pleased with my purchase. |

Haven't used it yet; although, I looked it over. I got it partly because it's a cute little thing. Fits in my car nicely. Basically I took the recommendations of the other reviewers. The ones mentioning the 15amp output requirement were extremely helpful. Just wanted to add that feedback. The coiled hose fits nicely into its zip compartment. |

most everything people have said about this unit are accurate - this is a huge leap over the 20 dollar walmart variety pump inflaters for bike and cars. way quiet and way more powerful, a pleasure to use after years of the cheap ones. the case is a pain just like they say. it's a great case, just difficult. i suggest you add a Topeak Smarthead to this pump to use it for bikes. Dump the green hose and retrofit the smarthead, makes this an ideal unit. I wish they madea 10volt unit, I would probably buy one just to stop using the noisy compressor. |

Pro:
-Does exactly what it says it will do
Con:
-A little cumbersome to setup/plugin but not horrible
-Pressure gauge is a little off so you'll want to have a separate pressure gauge
-Hooking up the nozzle to a tire is a bit of a pain

A REAL Compact Heavy-Duty Tire Inflator |

This is the BEST tire inflator i have owned, its really compact (came with his bag) its not loud, its VERY fast. I ordered a second one for my brother in law after he saw this one. Note: you can use it with a 10 amp socket but have to be carefull to not overheat the plug (just don use it more than 3 or 4 minutes continuosly, let it cool down). 5 star |
