Shipping problems--rolls around in big box |

The guague is great, easy to use, seals well, and the manufacturer easy to contact and helpful. Ask, tho, that Marketadvisory wrap the item well and put in bubble wrap/penuts, etc, 'cause two times they just sent it to me rolling around in a big box, which per the manufacturer, can damage it's accuracy. |

The hose and metal components appear to be very strong and of high quality. As others have mentioned, the hose is black (not like the photo) which does not matter one bit to me. The dial is pretty big with large, easy to read numbers. I have used this gauge on at least 12 different tires and it works great. The nozzle fits the tire valves perfectly. No leaks while checking pressure. There is one thing about this gauge that made me consider giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The cover on the dial appears to be made of low-quality plastic, the type of plastic that scratches and cracks easily. I have a feeling that if I were to drop it on a concrete floor, the dial cover might crack or shatter. In spite of this, just from holding and using the gauge you get the feeling that it is well made.
When it comes to things like tire gauges, I don't mind spending a little more for quality. Why buy a cheap gauge that is probably not accurate? I have faith that this one is accurate. Is this gauge worth 40 dollars? Well, it is easy to read. It's easy to handle. The bleeder valve works well. And this gauge has given me the peace of mind that my tires are properly inflated. So for me, it is worth every penny. |

Always wanted an accurate tire pressure gauge. This one, although a tad expensive for the home buyer works perfectly and makes keeping your tire pressure correct a piece of cake. |

Its OK .... |
I bought this wanting an accurate gauge . which i got,
what i dont believe i got was 40 worth of gauge.
it came slightly damaged, there was a swirley mark on the face
- now i dont care much about looks but it was damaged in shipping due to the lack of protection
as far as it working it looks accurate. so my 1 dollar bargin bin victor , my great value accu-gage $10 and my over priced $40 gauge all read the same , good !! but i would not buy this again maybe an intercomp tire gauge would be a wiser choice
it works ok , hold up to the stem easy , the bleeder is properly gauged , again this doesnt hold the reading - my $10 accugage holds the reading , weird at first but its nice with the had held ones
the only problem with the bleeder action. is the needle bounces when u release it and it will vary in where it lands. Bout a 1/2 pound off here or there a bit weird but the gauge is responding to the abrupt stoppage of releasing of air.
the construction , the tip and hose are very nice quality , mine was in all black not like the pic - again very nice ,
the plastic gauge cover felt like it came out of a 25 cent toy machine - that is the most disappointing thing its stronger than it looks or sounds i guess but you better feel right at 40 blank blank dollars ,
finally the cover , yes i bought it , yes you should buy it , baby blue !! bah not a real issue putting it on but the spooge from the connector was excessively put on there so
OH and on the package it says made in the usa , on the gauge its made in brazil lol |
