Pleased and Satisfied |
I was quiet intrigued by this product after see multiple commercials for this product on television. My boyfriend and I have never tried any type of lubricant in the bedroom before because we never needed it, but after seeing the commercials we were both intrigued.
The packaging of the product is very pleasant. After reading some of the reviews, a lot of people don't know that the product is able to stand on it's own. There is a plastic white ring object that the tubes come in. If you take the tubes out of the white ring object and put that piece by itself on the table, it acts as a stand. All you need to do next is put the two tubes inside the object, not letting them fall through. The table top stops the tubes from sliding down any further and the white ringed object holds the two tubes perfectly upright on your table or nightstand.
The purple is for "her" and the blue is for "him". I applied the "his" on for my boyfriend and he loved the sensation it gave him. When he applied the "hers" on for me, it gave me a slight burning sensation (well it kinda switched from a cooling to burning sensation). I thought it would be an uncomfortable feeling because we've never tried anything like this before and I didn't know what to expect. A little goes along way. The product is soft to the touch and not STICKY AT ALL!!! When we were finished, cleanup was easy! The product easily washes off with warm water.
Overall, the experience was a good one. My boyfriend has been walking around all day everyday since we got the product saying "Yours and Mine?" LOL! Now the product may not work the same for everyone, as I was able to see that for previous reviews, but for those of us that it does work for, it's GREAT! It's also the mentality of knowing you'll have a great experience with your partner regardless if the product is there or not. The product just adds that extra oomph your looking for! |

The lubricant part is a plus but the "flavors"... |

The commercials for this product gives one the impression that its use will be a mind-blowing experience. While interesting, it is hardly mind-blowing and not much of an improvement over the normal K-Y product. My three stars apply towards this new innovation of "flavors" rather than its 5 star lubrication ability. |

Good product, lousy packaging |
The lubricants themselves are just fine, though unremarkable. The complementary interaction between the his and hers was minimal, and not worth the fuss of juggling the two tubes.
The packaging, however, is unfortunate. It leaks slightly, and there's no way to stand the tubes upright without putting them back in the box. Looks cool, works badly. |

My wife LOVES it!!! |
My wife picked this up a while back out of curiousity. She says it gives a "tingly" feeling (other reviewers say icy/hot) and absolutely loves it. If it's not in bed or within reach when I come to bed, I get sent after it. She actually gets very excited just at the thought of it & acts like fireworks are going off when using it. Yeah... I'm good, but not that good - LOL!. No other lube has had an effect on her like this one. Her loving it so much says everything to me. I'll be buying it in bulk just to make sure we don't run out.
Much of the fun of having the two bottles is applying it to each other.
The concept of icy/hot makes sense to me since I've had great responses long before this product using an ice cube and a warm tongue (sorry if I'm being too graphic, but you are here looking at this product for a reason, right?). Temperature is another great sensation to ramp things up a little.
As for what I get from it... it just feels warm to me, which is definitely not a bad thing. Most of what I get out of it is her enjoying it. Also... it doesn't taste bad either (I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be eating it but it hasn't had me ill yet). Two thumbs up!

Not That Great |
Vine offered it for free, so why not, right? I'm always up for something new and different, and this was certainly enticing enough.
But all in all, my reaction--and that of my wife, too--is a big shrug of the shoulders and a pinchy-faced "Enh." It just wasn't that great. It was different, sure, but not magical or mind-shattering or transcendental.
Mine was like a light mentholatum rub. Having had my share of locker room practical jokes involving analgesic balms and jock straps, I know from heating/cooling preparations applied to sensitive areas, and I was particularly attuned to how this stuff would go on. It was slightly cooling. Not necessarily unpleasant, but to my mind really the opposite of what you're looking for when you're headed for this sort of, ah, encounter. Heat is what you want, not cool.
My wife reported similar cooling sensations for her half of the magical potion.
So, we were wondering what we'd get when the two formulas collided, as it were. We were expecting sparks, maybe glow in the dark, maybe some sort of wacky colors, but all in all, we just got more cooling sensations. I really didn't detect anything new or different together than I did with just my own application. Yeah, it was a bit disappointing, and not really that hot and exciting.
The package has been in the hall closet for at least a month now, and neither the wife nor I is really that inclined to get it out and try it again. |
