Product Description |
|
The Cannon Sports CSI BLUE Ribbon Wand has an official 25" fiberglass wand with swivel ends, and the streamer has a double fold at one end for attachment to swivel. CSI uses quality satin ribbons 14' 10" (157cm) long, 2" wide. The BLUE streamers are great for cheer team and ribbon teams. The CSI ribbon wands meet FIG specifications. |

What a deal! |
|
When I purchased this product I expected one wand and ribbon and I received 5 wands and ribbons. I don't know if this was a mistake, but I was able to share with other skaters. The wand is very nice with a good swivel, although it doesn't have a rubber hand grip like my other wand. The ribbon is exactly 2 inches wide and way longer than I need so I could trim it. The ribbon has about 2 feet of overlap where it's attached to the wand and seems of great quality. I'm happy. |

Great ribbon and handle! |
|
This is very easy to use with relatively sturdy ribbon and handle. The only caveat is that the ribbon does make some flapping, rubbing noises as it is used, perhaps that is to be expected. But its great fun. This is a great prop for ballet to the Nutcracker Ballet Chinese piece. |

Cannon Sports Ribbon Wand |
The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because of the lack of variety in colors and sizes.
I've had this ribbon for about four months now. Around the same time, I bought a ribbon wand from Sharp's Baton because they had a variety of colors.
I must say that Cannon Sports ribbons are much more durable - I'm still using mine after 4 months and it's in good shape. It is rather long so you'll have to have alot of room if you use it and they only come in light blue and red. The wand is supposed to come with the product so you don't have to buy one separately.
Sharp's ribbon on the other hand tore up days after I got it. The material used on Sharp's ribbons although very pretty, are so soft that the threads just come apart very easily - almost like pulling a cotton ball apart after about a few uses. I can say that Sharps's wand is of better quality than most as it has a handy rubber grip, but this wand should only be used for ribbons that are 9 feet or shorter. |
