True gospel |
Hard to find lyrics, only one who has truely been touched on the road to Damsacus, can rap like this. This CD because of its emphasis on Christ the truth and the life, is one that the Lord can use to lead one to a saving salvation like that of Lacrae, one that says I am crucified with Christ, I live nevertheless not I but Christ who lives in me. Thank you Lacrae and team for allowing the Lord to use you with this kind of power. It is a must buy for the young and old alike. I had never heard of him before but when I went to Walmart and saw the title of the CD, it seemed interesting so I bought it and I was not disapointed and now I will buy any Lacrae albulm.

This will be a classic.. |
I have been so tired of hip hop music for the past few years, because the negative artist and the fact that they do not talk about what I want to hear anymore. So I searched for christian hip hop artist today, and I found this album. After sampling the album I bought it and, have loved every minute of it. Lecrae you are truly talented and thank you for the positive message. I recommend this album for anyone seeking a christian hip hop album.
Only wish I had a way to thank Lecrae.

Holy Hip-Hop at its finest... |
Lecrae is one of the premier artists in the Christian rap movement today. His purpose statement of "digesting theology and then spitting it so the streets can grasp it" is executed flawlessly on this CD, which is one of the best Christian rap CDs I've gotten my hands on.
You won't be disappointed by the relentless beats and the smooth flows about God's glory, Christ's death, and our duty as believers to call all of the world to repentance. |

Now what i expected at all!!!! |
|
I actually thought Christian rap would be a total joke. I used to listen to rap music alot but i also listen to everything else out there. I actually now prefer Lecrae over Lil Wayne, Jay -Z and Ludacris. Phenominal beats and awesome lyrics. I listen to his stuff while lifting weights.. its that kind of good rap music. |
