Legos are a mainstay. |

Legos are a mainstay item for all kids, in my opinion. Our five year old grandson loves building imaginary and real creations. This bucket was a big hit. Overpriced, but a hit nonetheless. It seemed all the Legos were steeply priced this season. Better than mindless video games for sure, and these pulled him away from them. |

Beware the price... |

LEGOs are a fantastic toy for a young mind. But it seems I could use some sharpening of my own adult mind. I purchased the Ultimate LEGO Building Set from Marketadvisory and i received it promptly. The problem was i thought i was getting a larger set. It turns out that the exact same set sold for LESS THAN HALF of what i paid for it here on Marketadvisory. By the time i went back to my local store to buy the same item, it was sold out due to the holidays. So, i have learned my lesson to shop local first and always shop around (not just online) when making any purchase. |

Don't base your expectations on the size of the box |
I am happy with the purchase overall - the amount of pieces for the price was better than I could find in any stores and comparable to what I found online in other places. All said and done, this ended up being the best deal by a few dollars.
My one complaint is this: upon arrival at my house I was delighted with the outward appearance of this - exactly what I expected. But after I unpackaged all of the Lego the container was barely 1/3 full! It was a big disappointment. I am considering buying three similar products so that our Lego collection will be adequate and use the extra containers to store other toys...but geesh! when did plastic get so expensive? |

Was disappointed. I bought this for my 2 year old grandson, and I now understand why the price was low. It was not what I expected. Big container, not many pieces. |

Probably for 6+ older... |

For the most part this was a good toy. I got this for my 5 year-old on his birthday, but most of the pieces are a little too complex for him. Also, the base plate Lego that you build Legos on is way too small (may 3" X 3") to build things one. Lastly, the pamphlet shows great ideas on what you can build with the Legos, but only SHOWS you how to make about 10 of them. |
