Editorial Review |

Horses need a stable for shelter. The 3.5-inch-long, 2-inch-tall horses included in this set are privileged to have such a wonderful red and white plastic stable. The barn snaps together in minutes and includes a tack and storage room and three stalls with swinging doors. Accessories such as a water trough, four corral fences, a jump, and three race barrels ensure fun-filled days for these lucky horses. The barn is 10.5 inches long, 6.5 inches wide, and 7 inches high. What a wonderful toy and display piece for horse lovers! --Tami Horiuchi |

Terrible |
|
My girls wanted a stable for their stablemates so much. They were plently old enough to play with this toy carefully. Everytime they went to play with it, it fell apart. The doors wouldn't stay on and the roof pieces wouldn't stay. It is one of the worse toys were have ever purchased other then the Polly Pocket Race to the Mall. Piece of junk that got thrown away. We just purchase the Melissa and Doug Stable to replace - much more pricey but should be worth the money. Wish we had never bought the Breyer one. Good luck. |

Very nice! |
|
This is a very well made toy that is truly a complete set. It is beautifully designed and constructed. Not a single broken piece on our barn or horses after almost a year of play! You don't need to buy anything extra if you don't want to - you get plenty included with this set. This is the quality of toy you rarely see anymore. My one caveat is that the barn does sometimes fall apart, but 3 minutes and a few dabs of glue will solve that! |

Garbage |
|
I read a review about how the toy broke nearly immediately after being used, and I should have realized this wasn't the toy for me. Perhaps a nine or ten year old, who knows how to handle things gently could enjoy this toy. However, it breaks too easily and is very cheap. |

Cannot keep this stable together! |
|
I bought this as an "entry level" horse stable for my 4 year old daughter, before going out and purchasing a more expensive wooden stable. I now wish I had spent more money on a more durable stable. My daughters are very gentle with their toys and I cannot keep this stable from coming apart. Doors and windows have already broken off, which is bad enough, but when the actual walls don't stay on, it's very frustrating to play with. I was really disappointed with Breyer. |

Pretty toy, flimsy construction |
|
I ordered the Riding Academy, the Wash Stall Barn and the the Stablemates Red Stable set all at the same time. Had I ordered only one, I'm not sure I would have bought the others. Though my granddaughter, age 4, was extremely excited and pleased, I am afraid the set won't stand up to much play. The instructions are easy but the pieces don't "snap" together tightly and I had to resort to superglue to keep them together. The horses that go with the set are hard plastic so not as high quality as I expected. I would have paid $10.00 more for each item had they been better made. Still it is an extremely cute set. The colors are vivid. My complaint is that the pieces should have snapped together and held as expected and that they should have been made a little sturdier. One accidental fall onto one of the buildings and I think it will break apart. Since I had to glue it in the first place that may be the end of this toy. Made in China says it all for me. Adorable toy, flimsy, poorly fitted pieces. |
