Good Tinkerbell doll set |
I read the previous reviews of this doll and decided to order it for my 3 year old daughter. I like the interchangeable clothes and gems for the wings. The wings light up when you press on the necklace. we have had no problems switching outfits on the doll - everything fits rather well. But, the wings can pose a problem for little ones when fastening the clothes.
I would have preferred that Tink's face was a little closer to the face structure on the new Tinkerbell movie, but it seems that my daughter hasn't noticed. It has nice long blonde hair that can be "styled".
There are a bunch of little pieces with this set, so I recommend that a ziploc bag be used to keep all of her accessories together so they don't get lost.

but not always working. doll takes two AG13/LR44 button cell batteries. easy enough to buy and install, but thought it might be helpful to know when purchasing. though my daughter is thrilled with her own fairy, (as mommy has tons she can't play with), i would have liked the wings to have glowed for her when she first unwrapped it. either way the doll is adorable, durable, and a definate win for any little girl that likes fairies. |

Tinkerbell the Honorary Disney Princess |
There have been a million Tinkerbell toys over the years. What sets this one apart, is her slight design alteration to make Tink look more like the Disney Fairies versions with her wider, luminous eyes and slightly different shaped face. Her wings are very pretty and made of a solid plastic. Tinkerbell herself is fairly durable, she's been played with alot and her hairstyle is fairly the same. The dress she is wearing is quite pretty, but the "extra outfit" seems a bit cheap, it's like a purple felt and is too simple. Maybe they are Tink's "play clothes".
We bought this for a relative's little girl's birthday (she was turning 6) and she LOVED it. However, my daughters caught wind of it before we managed to get it wrapped and then they both wanted one as well. So we got one that they share... so this has been a popular product all around.
Great for any little girl looking to "play" the world of the Disney Fairies and who loves Tink. |
