Breakfast in bed is one of life's luxuries, and even dolls can enjoy such an indulgence thanks to this fun set of furniture and accessories. Dolls get comfortable, propped up by fabric pillows against the high headboard of their bed. The breakfast tray (with toast, coffee, a card to Mom and Dad, and the morning paper) fits over a doll's legs. For illumination and entertainment, the nightstand has two snazzy features, a lamp that really lights up and a radio that plays four tunes. Attending this picnic in bed is the floppy-eared family dog who, with his pink tongue showing, is ready to slurp up any breakfast leftovers. Dolls not included. I bought this toy for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loves the dollhouse and this made a nice addition to it. She is able to put the Mommy and Daddy to bed. This adds to the realism of her play. I love the pillows that are soft with the bedspread. My only complaint is that the father does not fit into the bed without bending him. However, the bed is a durable chunky plastic that will withstand the kids playing with it. It fits into the dollhouse nicely and the colors are lively. The breakfast tray that comes with it is very cute with the removable newspaper. The favorite part of this set is the night table. The lamp lights up and the clock plays music when the button is pressed. It automatically shuts off after 3-5 minutes. This is wonderful because you do not have to find a shut off button. The little telephone is cute too. My daughter pretends to talk on the little telephone or have the dolls talk on the phone. I did not purchase the Sweet Dreams bed because there was not a lot of room in the dollhouse for the vanity. I decided to save the space. My daughter likes the nightstand better. I recommend this set. |

This set works very well in both the loving family dollhouse and the limited edition townhouse. Just one suggestion--could Fisherprice make the clock really work? Quartz time movements are cheap and would be a great learning tool. My daughter thinks it's always 8:30 a.m. in her dollhouse. |

My daughter loves the breakfast in bed set for the loving family home. Especially the table with the light, which turns on, and the phone and alarm clock, which plays several songs. Adults may be annoyed by the alarm clock though, which plays the songs VERY loud. |

Decorate the bedroom! |

The bed has two pillows that can be attached to the bedframe or taken off to lie flat on the bed. The sheet doesn't come off but can be lifted up to put dolls under it. Under the sheet, the bed lies on a slant (I guess to keep the dolls from falliing off:)). Comes with a lamp & phone/radio table. The phone doesn't work, but you can lift up the reciever for conversation! (heh heh) The radio plays several tunes (no words). Push the lamp down and the light comes on. There's also a tray that has a newspaper (can't open) and coffee, a card from the kid(s), a plate with a pc of toast. Fits nicely over an adult's legs. Really cute. A nice addition to your loving family dollhouse. |
