Ladybug is red, as she should be to warn predators. Her fleecy soft body is filled with firm foam. Manipulate her on her underside with a black velveteen glove (cleverly designed with two thumbs for both left- and right-handed puppeteers) that serves as her legs. Both my children have enjoyed the story by Eric Carle "The Very Grouchy Ladybug." Having a ladybug puppet just enhances it and makes it so much more interactive. And it was a hit when my son took the puppet and book to school to share with his teachers and friends! |

My five year old son loves to talk to "lady buggy" as I crawl around him with my fingers in 5 of her 6 legs. She's held up through sharing his powdered-suger doughnuts and falling in the tub. Just a lovely little puppet. |
