Features Of  'Little Einstein's Pat Pat Rocket'

  • Rocket will begin to start up as the child pats along. You can hear various classical music pieces along with Rocket sound effects.
  • Roll Rocket quickly or slowly along the table and the music will begin to play quickly, Allegro or slowly, Adagio! Rocket will have a gravity switch so that when the child points him in the air the music will start to play louder.
  • Rocket is a playset too! All 4 characters- Leo, Annie, Quincy & June, come with Rocket and can play inside and Rocket will recognize what characters are in their seats! Rocket works with the playsets he flies to by encouraging the child to be creative.

Customer Reviews for  'Little Einstein's Pat Pat Rocket'

2 year old daughter loves Rocket!
We bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. 5 months later.. this is by far her favorite toy at the moment. She LOVES her Rocket! Every time she watches Little Einsteins.. she has to have Rocket. Even when we have playdates over here.. we have to "hide" Rocket b/c no one is allowed to play with Rocket except her!

I read a couple other reviews.. and the seating is correct in our Rocket. My daughter knows exactly where everyone goes.. and if you try to put Leo in the wrong spot (for instance) - she'll immediately go "no!" and put Leo in the correct spot. You do have to press down on them to get them to talk, but.. my 2 year old can do it just fine. She absolutely loves to play with her Rocket.

So.. I rated this a 5 stars b/c my daughter loves it. There are 3 downsides (as a mom) that I would like to mention.. but my 2 year old could care less about them:
- Loud. This toy is SO loud.. wish it had a volume control.
- The hood of Rocket comes off very easily.. and my daughter cant get it on by herself yet.. so, we have to put the hood back on Rocket when it comes off.
- The green little screen that is inside of Rocket.. well, its cheap. It came off immediately.. so, we just tossed it aside. My daughter could care less..!

Overall, excellent toy. May not be the parent's favorite toy.. but your child will absolutely LOVE this toy if they like Little Einsteins!

Price...
I just bought this toy for my son for Christmas, I am glad I got it at Target rather than on Marketadvisory as I usually just get them on here without the hastle of trying to go and find toys in the store. Anyways, It is 45.00 on Marketadvisory, Target has this toy on sale right now for 22 dollars, origonally like 39. Anyways, I am not sure if it is just my Target or if it at all Targets, but check it out before you overpay on here. = ) I must say, I am very happy for 22 dollars. = )

A cute toy with some design problems
My two year-old daughter loves Little Einsteins, so this was an obvious choice for a birthday present. She was (and continues to be) happy with the toy. She loves playing with the figures.

With that said, there are some major design problems with this item. First, the lid on the rocket will not stay up. It constantly falls on her hands as she tries (with that being the operative word, as discussed below) to put the figures in. Second, the lid snaps off the toy incredibly easily. When my daughter pulls this out to play with, I can be sure that she will be asking me to put the lid back on for her about every 30 seconds (the lid might "disappear" from her toy room very soon). Third, the characters are hard (even for me) to push down into their seats. Lastly, the rocket is really way too heavy for her to fly around. She resigns to pushing it around on the floor.

Overall, she seems to enjoy the toy. As a parent, I wish these design issues would have been addressed so I could also enjoy the toy with her.

It's a Big Hit in Our House!
I almost didn't buy this toy because of the price, but my 3 year old daughter is a huge Little Einsteins fan. Let me tell you, it is well worth the money. She plays with Rocket and the Little Einsteins every day, and even requested to take it to nap with it this weekend. Rocket makes all the same sounds as on the show, and when you put the kids in the seats, they interact with Rocket and with your child. If your child has rocket fly low to the ground, the music gets softer and Leo uses the musical terms related to softer, if your child lifts Rocket up high, the music gets louder and Leo uses the musical terms for louder. It is durable (At 1 year old, the toy is still in great shape), and engaging. It is the first toy my daughter wants to play with every night after daycare. She loves acting out the shows with this toy. It encourages her imagination, even without the added packs (they have mission packs that you can buy to add on to the toy). Yes, the cover does come off easily, but it also goes back on easily (my three year old can do it). Rocket can be flown with or without the drop down handle. My daughter had no problem lifting the toy herself. My only complaints are that the drop down handle folds up hard and the paint wears off of the kids after some play time (at 1 year old, the paint is coming off the feet and hair on the kids).

NOT WORTH THE PRICE
Bought this for grandson's 3rd birthday. Like other reviews it is heavy to lift, and compartment will not stay open. The computer inside got lost first hour of play. I don't think he has played with it at all since the day he got it, would not recommend for 3 year olds.
