Its chalk, yes, but it is good chalk |

I needed chalk for my religious education class I teach. I teach 5th and 6th graders and there are many things I need to write down for them. As my church has yet to get whiteboards we still have the old blackboards. I looked everywhere for "plain" chalk. All I could find was the big chalk that kids use for drawing on sidewalks. That does work but my students have a hard time reading what I have written. When I finally found this chalk through Marketadvisory I was very excited. Amazing to be excited about a box of chalk but if you had searched for as long as I had you would be excited as well! I was very happy to see that not one of the pieces of chalk was broke when it arrived. Also it says that it is "anti-dust", I really do not know what that means, however I know it does not leave a lot of "chalk dust" on my hands. Also it is very smooth feeling and that is nice. I do not feel like I have to constantly wipe off my hands from that dry chalky feeling I got from the tiny pieces that were all I had before. The big draw, of course, was the chalk was a Crayola product. I trust that brand name. I will not buy my own children any other crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc. except for Crayola brand. They are a great company. You need chalk? Go for this and I know you will be happy! |

This chalk sucks. Buyer beware. |

Worst chalk ever. Engraves more than it writes. Where has all the decent chalk gone? |

I have tried other brands. This is the true, really true, dustless chalk. No question about it. They may get some dust from the shifting around during shipping. No matter. Just wipe them with a tissue, or wash them with water, and you are set. One tip: do not break them, and always use the same end. That will prevent unwanted dust. |
