It s also about Christmas layouts that capture the marvelous time when we were young, and it was Christmastime snow falling, sparkling street lamps, red ribbons, gaily wrapped presents, and colorful holiday lights. I think the best was when we were kids, says Dennis Piotrowski, creator of a 40x60 foot layout that celebrates Christmas in the mid-fifties. We cherish those times. Maybe they didn t last long enough. Now we are making those times last longer width our toy train layout.
