Better than a sippy cup |
We've had one for about 8 months now. When we first bought it, my son was about 14 months old and not really liking the traditional sippy cup. He loves to push the button to open it and snap it shut to close. The straw is really soft and surprisingly just about the only thing he *doesn't* chew on!
It's very durable and despite some nicks and scratches, it's held up remarkably well against my now 22 month old toddler. After 8 months of constant use and frequent dishwasher (top rack) cleanings the inside parts need replacing. I just called the 1-800 number (in the first review)to order more parts expecting them to be about as much as the bottle itself, but no! The 3-part inside component (sippy straw, under-lid disc & hard straw) cost only $1.00 each!! I ordered 4 (hey, you never know) and including shipping my total order was $7.00. |

I have to be vigilant when my 2-year-old uses the Thermos because if he places the cannister on its side, milk will come out of the straw. He also likes to turn it upside down, and milk comes out. I bought two of them only two weeks ago, and one broke today when it fell out of his bag. The cover cracked and the hinge broke off. As a result, the cap will not stay on now. I am looking for other alternatives. Glass is out of the question with my boys! |

I bought two (pink and blue). Both leak. I thought this would be the greatest thing since is was BPA free and cold keep drinks cold. I like the sippy cup by the same company but my daughter has graduated to the straw types. It started leaking from day one. After washing it, I would spend 5 minutes trying to align the vent hole different ways to prevent leaking. It was also dropped from about 2 feet and the hinge broke. No way to fix that so basically it now has no lid. I have emailed the company with no response and don't plan on sitting on hold for 20 minutes like others have. I wish I could take it back. I am going back to Nalgene and Camelbak BPA free. Save your money. |

It Doesn't Leak!! |

This kid's thermos so far is proving to be a no leak winner! I got this for my son for his packed lunches and it seals really well and hasn't leaked yet, and I hope it won't! I had to replace two bookbags last year because his old thermos would leak all over his bookbag and ruin everything, especially if he didn't turn the lid tight enough. This one it doesn't seem to matter, it doesn't leak! |
