Where's the CD for the Hard drive |
When I received the Hard drive, I ASSUMED it came with a CD, it did not, and therefore I had to go to the Iomega website to download for this hard drive, and there were 100's of options, of which I had no clue which one to select.
I attempted to download one of the options, but it never completely would download my data, only partially, so I gave up after 3 seperate attemps and returned it. |

Great Drive |

I think this external hard drive is great. There's been some comments that it makes noise but i didn't hear any type of noise. It's easy to setup. Just plug it in and you're good to go. It's worth the price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent external hard drive. |

Nice, Quiet, Lots of Space |

I read the other reviews before buying, and I got one of the quiet ones. Just remember to reformat it to NTFS before trying to copy things over, especially large files. |

Just what I expected |
Popped it out of the box, encrypted the drive and dumped all my data on it.
During this process the device was completely silent and was warm to the touch... Not hot.
I don't regret purchasing this HD and would recommend it to anyone looking for a 500 GB HD.

Easy to use, lots of storage |
I needed to get more storage for my old desktop and was so confused on what to get or even how to use one.
I bought this after reading the customer reviews and have found it to be the perfect external hard drive for anyone to use.
I just plugged it in to the wall, then connected the USB to the computer and it was ready to be used. Can't be any easier than that.
I have backed up my computer and am storing all my picture files on it as well. It is very sturdy and I have had not troubles with it. I have been transporting it amoung several places ( school, work, and home) and it still looks good as new.
I highly recommend it! |
