This is great. I previously used the suction cup mount provided with the Garmin unit. This worked ok but would fall off the windshield at the most unopportune time and created a real problem. I ordered the dashboard mount and problem solved. It certainly will not move from where you place it on the dash. The material on the bottom of the unit grips the dash surface like glue. It Works... |
I was skeptical that this thing would work, but it works perfectly. It is heavy and also has an almost "sticky," rough bottom which helps keep it from sliding or shifting. I drive a Honda Accord which has a slightly angled dash, and it doesn't move, including during sharp turns. Even when you press the buttons on your GPS with force, this mount does not slide backward.
This is a much better option that the suction cup mount...it's more out of the way than the suction cup mount, leaves no suction cup marks on the windshield, and is easier to grab and put into the trunk when you park. Buy it, it's worth it! |
