Fantastic handheld blender |
This is the second Cuisinart hand held blender that I've had in the last (10)+ years. The first one lasted a longgggg time and the replacement version (this one) is even better.
On a daily basis, I make protein smoothies (among other uses) and this blender really performs well- combining various fruits, etc.; it works wonders, blending everything in seconds.
Clean-up is a breeze as you just push a button and the metal part detaches for cleaning purposes.
Cost- very reasonable. It feels like it's worth more than I paid which is a rarity.
I am impressed. |

Not brushed chrome |
|
As another recent reviewer stated, this isn't chrome. My previous immersion blender ($20 from Aldi) had the casing melt after a few weeks of use. I thought this would eliminate that problem. Silly me. The picture on Marketadvisory adds to the deception since it looks shiny. It really should be called "Color: gray." Should have just gotten white since it was two dollars cheaper when I ordered. |

Cuisinart Smart Stick Immersion Hand Blender |
|
This item is exactly as described and arrived on a timely basis. It does the tasks it is to be used for simply and quickly. I was afraid that it might be damaged because when I opened the outer shipping carton there was not one piece of packing material of any kind. The blender itself was in another much smaller box which was bouncing around inside the outer carton with ANY handling. Thankfully, the blender was not damaged. |

The body (the part you hold in yoiur hends) of this item is NOT Brushed Chrome |
|
Yes, that is surprising, isn't it? Only the 3/4th of the attachment seems to be metal. The connection assembly is also plastic. The whole blender is quite cheap looking. Hence the negative reviews about this item not being sturdy. I shouldn't have disregarded it before I purchased this item. Absolutely FALSE advertising. Cuisinart and Marketadvisory should be ashamed of themselves. It works well, but I don't know how long it will last to be honest. $30 I spend is too much for this blender. |

great baby food and smoothies |
|
My husband and I are using this to make baby food and smoothies. It works surprisingly well, especially with large, chunky frozen strawberries. We like that it fits in a drawer rather than taking up a lot of storage space like our larger food processor and blender. I also used it to puree a lentil soup. It did an amazing job - blended right in the pot in about 30 seconds. I found making baby food in our larger food processor to be a pain and sometimes the quantity of food was too small for a large processor. This handles 1-3 cups of baby food perfectly. It's easy to clean. The price is great for what you get. Seriously, we often marvel at how awesome this thing is. |
