this is the second set of these that i've bought and i don't have any real complaints... there are always a few "coasters" in every spindle i've bought, regardless of the brand... these are cheap compared to others that i've priced and they work just as well. i would recomend them to just about anyone looking for dual layer discs. |

Waste of Money! |

So after spending a full weekend burning a bunch of these, I come to find out almost all of them have some kind of issue about 3/4 into the movie to where they are not playable. Only about 2 out of 10 worked with no issues. What a waste of time and money. Read the other reviews. Don't buy these. Since I have already used about 10, they are probably not returnable so what a waste of $50 and a lot of time burning them! If I could have given no stars, I would have. |

There is a bad problem in writing to these discs. Even several DVD Software programs warn against using them. |

Double layer DVD |
|
These Memorex double layer DVD+R discs perform as expected. I use these discs for recording files or programs that are too large to fit on a single layer DVD. Backups of my operating system or diagnostic programs are two examples - things that can't be compressed to fit on a single layer DVD. |
