Product Description |
|
The Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Light is a battery operated clamp-on accessory that is custom designed to illuminate your Kindle Wireless Reading device. Two Super LED lights in one head gives you the lighting power of 6 normal LEDs. You have the option of using one or two of the Super LED lights with just a simple tap of the proprietary sensor switch. The flexible neck allows you to position your lighting anywhere you want it. With the XtraFlex2, you can take your Kindle anywhere--in bed, on the bus or train, and have proper illumination at your fingertips. |

Outstanding |
|
I found this light to function exceptionally well. It's flexibility stands out in my mind. You are able to adjust the light to illuminate the screen in any position. The light is bright enough to illuminate the screen in any lighting condition. This is a Kindle "must have." |

Bad Switch |
|
I bought two of these lights for two different Kindles. Upon receipt, one light had a bad switch and does not work properly. Also, the battery cases are almost impossible to open without breaking the case. I recommend that you do not buy. |

Love the clip light |
Terrific product. would recomend it to anyone that has the Kindle. The only way the Kindle could be better is to be back lit.

Mighty Bright Lite is Mighty BAD |
I have this item for my newly acquired Kindle. I tried to read with it last night and it is, in essence, useless--at least for me.
The light isn't bright enough (the batteries are new, both LEDs on) but more importantly, the glare on the screen is very bad. I do have the antiglare sheet on the screen.
It is a real disappointment.

Bright enough to turn the lights off |
|
Use this almost every night reading my Kindle in bed with other lights off. Gooseneck stays put where I put it . . . important because there is some screen glare when the angle isn't right. Will clip easily to my Leather Kindle portfolio, either open like a book, or with the cover flipped around to the back. Battery life seems very good . . . I haven't worn out the first set of batteries yet. This is a surprise since most of my previous reading lights for paper books went through batteries very fast. The switch quality is good and easy to find with a fingertip in the relative dark. Wish it had a little travel pouch, but a cosmetic bag would work OK. Just don't like the idea of tossing it in a carryon without one. Good value for the relatively low price. |
